Deliveroo is an online food delivery company founded in 2013 by Will Shu and Greg Orlowski. Based in London, England, it operates in two hundred cities: in the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, France, Belgium, Ireland, Spain, Italy, Australia, Singapore, United Arab Emirates, Hong Kong, Kuwait, and Taiwan. A subsidiary operation, Deliveroo Editions, focuses on developing a network of ghost kitchens.
These Ghost kitchens are located off-site from restaurants for the preparation of delivery / pick up only meals.
We created this 360 VR experience so that people ordering from those Ghost kitchens can have a look at the restaurants they have just ordered from without actually going there.
These 360 videos were integrated into a fully Deliveroo branded app and loaded into Oculus Go headsets which were placed at the food pick up locations so while customers were waiting for their food at one of Deliveroos satellite kitchens they could check out the restaurants.
