From 29 November 2018 to 28 February 2019 Hong Kong is taking its world renowned skyline to the next level with the inaugural Hong Kong Pulse Light Festival.

Visitors to Hong Kong will be treated to a sparkling lineup of free, light-filled festivities and visual feasts. The festival will feature an array of glowing installations by artists from across the globe, and complimented by a winter edition of the nightly “A Symphony of Lights” light-and-music show.

Artists from around the world will display their light-inspired installations along Victoria Harbour, creating a festive glow and a magical incandescent experience. The International Light Art Display will turn the city into an interactive light playground by featuring 14 of the best artworks that have toured the globe, alongside four symbolic Hong Kong installations by local artists.

HKTB sent out thousands of invites for people to view the light installations. With the invites HKTB included a fold out hologram pyramid which could be placed on any smart phone converting the phone into a hologram projector. Guests could then see the hologram invitation floating in mid air above their phones.
